Key Responsibilities:

• Macroeconomic Research Leadership: Spearhead in-depth research and analytics in macroeconomics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that influence the organization’s strategic direction. Develop and maintain a robust analytical framework to support strategy formulation.
• Strategic Analysis and Insight: Utilize advanced analytics to generate actionable insights for strategic planning. Provide expert advice on economic conditions, industry trends, and their potential impact on strategic initiatives.
• Governance of Strategic Initiatives: Ensure the governance framework for Competitive Strategy promotes accountability, transparency, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Strategy Formulation: Collaborate with senior management to translate research and analytics into effective strategies. Leads the formulation of competitive strategy, ensuring it is grounded in solid economic & industrial analysis and governance principles.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Advanced degree in Strategy, Banking, Economics, Finance, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on analytical and research methodologies.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in economic research, strategic analysis, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in applying research and analytics in strategic contexts..

Skills:

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical software and economic modeling.
• Deep understanding of macroeconomic principles and trends.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing strategy and governance decisions.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks and best practices, with the ability to apply them in a strategic context.
